Jones Public Relations, Inc. was recognized with the top four awards by the Public Relations Society of America’s Oklahoma City Chapter during its 30th Annual Upper Case Awards competition. The awards were judged by three nationally accredited public relations counselors from Dallas and Kansas City.
The Society bestowed its highest public relations acknowledgement to the president of Jones Public Relations, Brenda Jones, APR. Entitled The Paul E. Dannelly, Jr., Harmony Award, it is named after a former professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Journalism, now the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communications. The award is presented to a practitioner who has furthered the professionalism and the practice of public relations, and has earned the respect of his or her peers.
The public relations campaign for the Oklahoma City Auto Show won the Best of Show Award, Best of Campaigns Category Award and the Upper Case Award for Public Relations Campaigns. In addition, the full-service public relations agency received the Award of Merit for the Oklahoma Statehood Stamp in the Special Events category and Honorable Mention for the Drillright Technology Cycle of Giving in the Community Relations Campaign category.
“The awards are a tribute to our team’s strategic communications in achieving client objectives and the caliber of creative and editorial talent,” said Jones.
